The 28-year-old was caught stepping out on Sunday with a fashion tool box and sketchpad in hand as she reportedly headed to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising to put in some extra work.
Bynes dressed down for the occasion, sporting flip-flops and shades alongside dark denim jeggings and a plain white t-shirt.

Since being released from a rehab facility in early December, Bynes has enrolled in fashion classes at the school, where she has reportedly been doing well and is on track to getting her life back in order following a very public downfall in 2013.
The former child star was often spotted wandering streets alone, looking dazed and confused, getting into nasty Twitter feuds with fellow celebs, and engaging in generally bizarre behaviors throughout 2013. However, it wasn't until she set a small fire in a neighbor's driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif. in July that she was placed in an involuntary psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles hospital before entering a six-month rehab program.
At the time, reports indicated she had been diagnosed as both schizophrenic and bipolar, though her mother has since come out and said her daughter was never mentally ill, and had in fact behaved strangely due to marijuana usage.
"Amanda has no mental illness whatsoever," Lynn Bynes told E! News April 9. "She has never been diagnosed as schizophrenic or bipolar. Amanda is very sorry for all the hurtful tweets, statements and actions that occurred while she was under the influence of marijuana."
