Rumors are heating up again for Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia De Rossi, this time involving having children.
On Wednesday, Gossip Cop posted news from National Enquirer that the talk show host's significant other wants to have a child, which is pushing "marriage to the brink."The tabloid stated that the couple has apparently planned to never have children, but "Portia's now desperate to hear the pitter-patter of little feet."
The magazine also mentioned that De Rossi might even be willing to have a child on her own.
"What's more, she's telling pals she's ready to take the plunge into motherhood- with or without Ellen!" the tabloid says.
A supposed insider said, "Portia has flat-out told Ellen that she wants a baby or a divorce."
Considering that National Enquirer is famous for taking their rumors to an entirely new level, it's more than likely that this news is fake, which Gossip Cop has confirmed.
A source told the site that these stories are "nonsense," and that the couple are "loving their home lives."
The tabloids have been after DeGeneres and De Rossi for a while with several wild stories, involving the talk show host not being who she is when she's in front of the camera and De Rossi moving out.
When DeGeneres was on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she cleared up the status of her marriage, joking around that they were both sad when they read the news. She then said that she and her wife are both happy and they are not getting a divorce.
