'Star Wars Episode 7' Cast: Leading Role To Be Played By An Accomplished Tap Dancer & Jazz Singer? [VIDEO]
The cast for Star Wars: Episode VII was recently announced with more facts about an actress who will likely get her big break.
Episode VII Will Be Explored 'In Deeper Ways?'
On Wednesday, CBS News posted a few facts about Daisy Ridley who's been cast for the seventh installment, one of them being that despite being cast for the epic saga, she has a short acting resume. She's had roles in a few TV shows including Mr. Selfridge, Silent Witness and Youngsters, but not much else beyond that.
Another random fact about the newcomer is that she is apparently a "high-skilled" swimmer, a jazz singer and a jazz dancer. Her vocal range consists of mezzo-soprano and she does tap dance as well.

She can also play roles between the ages of 16 and 20, although it's unclear exactly how old she really is.
There is also no word on who her character will be in Episode VII, but one speculation is that she could be Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter.
The rest of the Episode VII cast includes Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Max Von Sydow, Andy Serkis, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are also expected to reprise their roles as Luke, Han and Leia.
"We are excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII," director J.J. Abrams said. "It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."
Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
