New episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians could show Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's first wedding ceremony in none other than Kris Jenner's Calabasas home.
Kim Quitting 'KUWTK' Because of Kanye?
The couple is rumored to be tying the knot in a civil ceremony this weekend. They'll then fly to New York City to attend the MET Ball before jetting over to Paris for the highly anticipated and lavish nuptials on May 24. This is so France will actually recognize their marriage considering the country has a policy where at least one person in a couple has to be a resident of the nation for 40 days before getting married.
While West does have a condo in the City of Light, he is not considered an official resident.
An insider told Daily Mail, "They plan to marry at Kris' house in Calabasas. Because it's a confidential license they took out the judge comes to them so they don't have to go to the courthouse."
Still, the couple isn't too happy about having to have a small ceremony before their luxurious one.
The same source added, "They are upset this got out because they figured no one head to know there was this legal wedding and would believe they would be celebrating them becoming man and wife for the first time in France, so it's kind of anti-climactic knowing the real wedding went down earlier."
They revealed that it's actually the Yeezus rapper who wanted to keep the first ceremony a secret, considering that is what his late mother, Donda, would have preferred.
"It's Kanye who doesn't want to be accused of putting on a show. He wants the union to be 'sacred.'"
