Steven Hirsch, the CEO of adult entertainment company Vivid, just dished on porn actress Miriam Weeks and the kind of impact she has created on the X-rated industry.

Miriam Weeks To Quit Porn?

In a video posted on VLAD TV on Wednesday, Hirsch admitted that he didn't expect Weeks (who also goes by "Belle Knox") to become such a massive sensation. He mentioned that since Weeks is a student at Duke University, that could have had something to do with it.

"It was just a story that caught fire you know, that the media was interested in," Hirsch said. "And I think it had to do with Duke and sort of that whole thing going on because quite frankly there's lots of college girls who make adult films, but her story just sort of stood out so good for her."

Hirsch then gave more support to Weeks for making herself a trademark in the X-rated industry.

"I hope she does great, and she's out there, and she speaks very highly of the industry and the people she works with, and I wish her all the best," he said.

The adult entertainment CEO then revealed that he originally thought Weeks was just another college girl making porn.

"Clearly I was wrong on that one," he said.

Hirsch also mentioned that Weeks might have what it takes to keep up with her powerful status.

"She's hooked up with the PornHub people, and she's sort of representing them, and they know what they're doing," he said. "And they can keep her out there so yeah I do actually."
