Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert Divorce Rumors: 'Automatic' Lyrics Give Insight? [VIDEO]
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have always had a sense of humor when it comes to rumors that they are getting a divorce, but could the latest talk be true?
More Shelton and Lambert Divorce Speculation
The country couple have been married for three years now and both have done well for themselves, with multiple hit songs and Shelton's success as a coach on The Voice.
While the press has questioned their relationship at every turn, Lambert is quoted in Us Weekly earlier this month as not taking any of it too seriously.
"I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we've been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce," Lambert said.
The star, who prizes herself on honesty, says it's no different when it comes to her music. "Everything I've ever said in my lyrics is who I am as a person," Lambert said in a recent interview with Billboard (featured below).
That being said, her lyrics do not necessarily help to ease divorce rumors. "It's only worth as much as the time you put in," read the lyrics to her hit single Automatic. "It all just seemed so good the way we had it. Back before everything became automatic."
While Lambert could easily be referring to a number of things, fans love to talk and the media loves to speculate. The couple says their relationship is strong, the press says it's on the rocks, but really only time will tell.
