Carrie Fisher Says The Script Is 'A Trip?'
On Sunday, Variety posted an interview with the actor where he was asked if he will have any involvement in Episode VII despite the fact that his character died in Return of the Jedi. Unfortunately for fans, it doesn't sounds likely that Darth Vader will be returning.
"Oh no. I've got no illusions that I will or even hankerings to be in them, but I'm very proud to have been part of the original," Jones said.
Adam Driver's Character Revealed?
The actor was then asked if he will watch any of the new films, which he seemed fairly optimistic about.
"Perhaps. I have no idea where they'll go with it, but I hope they sustain the success of the first ones and do it well," Jones said.
There will likely not be a Darth Vader in the seventh film, but Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are all set to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia. In a report from The Guardian, Fisher revealed what it's like to be back on set after a long period of time.
"We all look a little melted. It's good to see other people melted," the actress said. "And it is good to have us all in a room because it's unique. I mean, I don't suppose they have reunions for the Gone With the Wind gang."
Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
