As season 9 of Criminal Minds recently wrapped, the buzz around season 10 has already started to take over. On June 17, CBS revealed an image of Jennifer Jareau, played by AJ Cook, all sweaty from a work out.

Cook's picture as Jareau featured as part of a slideshow from the network titled '19 Sizzling Summer CBS Beach Bodies.'

While there was recently still some uncertainty about which cast members will return for the next chapter, now it can safely be assumed that Cook will be coming back. A recent report suggests that some of cast members haven't renewed their contracts yet and there is not telling if they will return on the show. While Shemar Moore, who plays Derek Morgan, hasn't been reportedly confirmed for the next chapter, the status of some of the other actors, who played main characters, was also in flux.

It was being suggested that Cook, Thomas Gibson, who plays Aaron Hitchner, Joe Mantegna, who plays David Ross, and also Kristen Vangsness hadn't quite resolved some issues relating to their contracts with CBS.

In a recent interview with TVGuide, Messner revealed that the early renewal for the show has been a very good thing for the cast and crew as all of them will be able to enjoy their break. Last year, it seems CBS gave the show very short notice causing a more tense situation but this time around they can take it easy. This could also mean that maybe the release date for season 10 might be pushed.

"These last two episodes took a lot out of everyone. It's a lot of work, but the payoff is great. But everybody needed to enjoy their break this year because last year," she said, "we couldn't enjoy it as much since we didn't [get the early renewal], so everybody was afraid to go on vacation and afraid to do anything."

The second and final part of the finale, Demons, aired on Wednesday, May 14 on CBS at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
