Harrison Ford Is 'Not' Excited To Play Han Solo?

On Monday, Sky News posted a story that mentioned that Tom Cruise might be "in talks" to play a part in the seventh feature film. It was reported from The Sun that the actor met with the film's director J.J. Abrams in London where they apparently discussed making an appearance in the movie.

Cruise and Abrams also worked together on Mission Impossible III so this could lead to more future projects together.

Benedict Cumberbatch Addresses Casting Rumors

Several actors from the old Star Wars films are set to make appearances in the film, including Harrison Ford, who reportedly broke his leg on set. According to Mirror, the actor feels like a "battered old Ford."

"And I keep on coming back for more," he told Daily Express. "If it doesn't look real on the screen than an audience does not believe what it sees."

Ford revealed that he does a majority of his own stunts so he knows what will make the film look good.

"Although I do my own running, jumping and falling, I always try to keep myself from being hurt," he said. "So I know what will work and what won't."

Ford then mentioned that he didn't think he would still be making movies at this point.

"All I've done is try to get scripts which interest me and make sure I prepare as well as I possibly can," he said.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
