While he awaits his sentencing for fraud charges on a scam that brought in nearly $3 million, Apollo Nida is defending spending thousands at the strip club on a regular basis.

Nida credits his fitness videos for a lucrative income that has earned him the ability to spend money galore.

"I make money from the videos. One of my monthly checks from the videos is $32,000 in sales. I mean, we make money. I purchase properties. I flip them. I bought my last house at $12,500; I sold it for $46,500. So just do the math," he said in a recent issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine.

Phaedra Parks Denies Involvement In Fraud Scam

"So, it was a party and $8,000 was spent. But it doesn't matter if it's $5,000, if it's $8,000. If that's your vice and if it's your money and that's what you want to do, cool, because guess what? There's no difference -- and I hope you word this right."

As for his wife, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, Nida confessed that she isn't a fan of his partying ways, so he's toned it down quite a bit.

"I used to always party with women [because] all my friends were women. I guess that was an issue, so I no longer kick it with women."

Nida's ability to drop thousands at the strip club without hesitation is ironic considering he also claimed that Parks' lawyer and reality TV star status is what caused him to take part in the fraud scam.

He said recently, "Whatever she has, she has. Apparently the prenup says she can keep whatever she has. If I feel like I gotta do and there's no other way and the checks aren't being distributed equally, then you gotta do what you gotta do."

Nida's sentencing is scheduled for July 8.
