Kristen Bell Pregnant: ‘Frozen’ Star Expecting Second Child With Husband Dax Shepard, Couple Is ‘Beyond Excited’ To Give Daughter Lincoln A Sibling [PHOTOS]
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are prepping for parenthood once again, as the comedic couple is now expecting their second child.
A representative for the two confirmed the news to Entertainment Tonight June 23.
"I can confirm that Kristen and Dax are expecting their second child and a sibling for Lincoln. The whole family is beyond excited," the rep said.
The couple gave birth to their daughter Lincoln in March 2013, and married in a surprise courthouse ceremony in October.
A new baby isn't the only addition to the couple's family. Bell tweeted about the couple's newly adopted dog on June 17.
"The newest member of our family comes in the form of this little black man" the actress captioned a photo of a sweet black pup.
Bell and Shepard have joined the ranks of several other celebrities who are leading for action to be taken against photographers who harass the children of celebrities for pictures.
The two created the "No Kids Policy," which rallied to get news outlets to stop sharing, buying or posting photos of celebrities' children taken without their consent.
Shepard even wrote a column for The Huffington Post in January on the couples' call to boycott magazines that posted such photos, defending his and Bell's decision and their right to keep their daughter out of the spotlight, as well as those who responded to the couple's request negatively.
"First of all, God how I wish there had been an actual 'sign-up' sheet. That would have saved me the eight years of no work I endured. Secondly, yes, I do know what comes with the job, which is why I'm NOT asking you to boycott magazines with my photo in them," he wrote at the time. "I'm only asking on behalf of my child who did not 'sign up.'"
