It looks as though Tori Spelling's reality television show, True Tori, might have helped save her marriage with her husband Dean McDermott. The actress is opening up about their life after McDermott's cheating scandal with Canadian fan Emily Goodhand last year threatened to end their marriage.

Spelling and McDermott have used their show to help chronicle their marital problems while trying to get their relationship back on track. Spelling says that while they still have to work on issues, certain things have improved in their marriage.

"Things are getting better," she said. "Life is always a work in progress and our relationship is one as well, but we're moving in the right direction."

In addition, Spelling also said that while many people have criticized her decision to air her personal struggles and private matters on a reality television show, she has no regrets about her decision to do so.

"Some people approve of it and some people didn't. It was my personal journey, and I have no regrets," she added.

Despite them making progress in patching up their marriage, a source says the couple looked "miserable" during a recent late night dinner to celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary in Encino, Calif.

"They did not look happy at all," the source told Us Weekly. "They were quiet. There weren't any smiles at all. It was sad to see them so down."
