Reign is about to take its emotions to a new level when the series reportedly takes a stronger focus on Bash and Francis after King Henry's death.

A Force Is Coming That Will Make 'Everyone Vulnerable' On Reign

On Friday, Digital Spy had a live interview with Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash on the series, where he dished on the possibility of his character becoming a threat to Francis in court. He mentioned that he thinks Queen Catherine will definitely think so although things might work out between the two brothers.

"I'm sure there'll be some tension there, but I think what we started to see toward the end of the season is an emotional understanding between Francis and Bash, and that maybe their relationship is going to be okay," Coombs said. "With any luck, he'll have use for Bash around court because really Bash was there because the king allowed him to be, and wanted him to be."

Queen Catherine Is Coming Back 'With A Vengeance'

With King Henry out of the picture, this could lead to some drama with Catherine doing something terrible.

"But now the king's dead, it's really up to Francis to fight for it because Catherine's certainly not going to want him around," Coombs said.

Adelaide Kane, who's known for playing Mary on the series, mentioned that there's a lot she would love to see happen on the show although she's not looking to work on it for a whole decade.

"Doing the same show eight months out of the year for 75 hours a week for the next 10 years sounds exhausting!" she said.

Reign Season 2 is set to premiere on Thursday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
