Music star Drew Chadwick opened up on his plans for his life now that he's no longer a part of Emblem3, and is moving on to a career of his own.

On Monday, Hollywood Life posted an interview with the 21-year-old, who seemed pretty optimistic on what the future holds for him.
"I got to make a mark now," Chadwick told the site. "I got to let people know what I'm all about."
As for what kind of music the former band member and song writer plans to create, it'll be a mix of several genres.
"It's a breakdown," he said. "It's folk, hip-hop, R&B, pop, subtle electronic...it also has a reggae influence. We don't play by the rules. Constant innovation, constant thinking outside of the box."
Chadwick also mentioned that his musical influences include Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley and Macklemore. There is also a possibility that he might tour with pop star Selena Gomez again after they worked together when he was a part of Emblem3. There are no plans to do that as of yet, but he probably wouldn't say no if the opportunity came up.
"I had a good time on tour with her," Chadwick said. "I'd be down to work with her if she was down to work with me. Sometime in the future maybe we'll get back together."
Emblem3 auditioned for The X Factor USA in 2012. They sang an original song called Sunset Blvd that Chadwick wrote. They ended up making it to fourth place.
