'Beauty and the Beast' TV Series Season 2: Catherine In A Catch-22 Situation, Can Only Stop Gabe By Killing Vincent? [VIDEO]
The preview clip and synopsis for the finale of season 2 of Beauty and the Beast was revealed on July 1 and they offer quite a few spoilers for fans.
It seems like Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) will be caught in a catch-22 situation in her pursuit for a solution to break Gabe's (Sendhil Ramamurthy) murderous streak in trying to nab Vincent (Jay Ryan). According to the synopsis for the episode, titled Deja Vu, Catherine will be looking for a way to stop Gabe's rampage and protect her lover, Vincent. Interestingly enough, she will find the solution in the journal of an ancestor which ironically states that Catherine can only stop Gabe by killing Vincent.
And it seems like Gabe has completely lost it in trying to get to Vincent and as the beast takes over him, he is willing to go to any gruesome length to pin Vincent down.
In the preview video for the finale Gabe is seen threatening by suggesting that he will "just keep killing those that matter most to" Vincent to bring him out of hiding. J.T. (Austin Basis) is seen a few times initially, suggesting that Gabe will only stop at killing Vincent as things were getting more intense. J.T. is also heard stating that Gabe is getting more powerful. But as soon as Gabe is heard stating that he will attack Vincent's closest friends, J.T.'s bloody glasses are seen on the floor, and somebody black boot is seen crushing them. This could very well mean that J.T. could be one of Gabe's victims. An agitated Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) is also seen in parts of the preview, asking Vincent to not react to Gabe's provocations as that way, he will be "playing right into his [Gabe] hands." She is also seen reassuring Vincent telling him that everything they have been through makes them stronger and suggests that she shares Vincent's destiny.
Deja Vu will air on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
