Cara Delevingne To Join The 'Episode VII' Cast?
On Sunday, Entertainment Weekly mentioned that the two new actors are Crystal Clarke and Pip Andersen. Clarke is an American actress who will appear in her first feature film called The Moon and the Sun coming out in 2015. Andersen is a British actor who was in a Spider-Man promo for Sony.
Both of these newcomers are supposed to take on a part in the latest Star Wars flick although it's unspecified what parts they'll be playing. They will be joining other cast members, including Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o and John Boyega.
Harrison Ford Opens Up On Broken Leg
Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are also set to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia.
In an article posted on SciFiNow, Serkis revealed some small hints about the character he'll be playing.
"The Imaginarium is now involved in all of the performance capture on the Star Wars projects," Serkis said. "And I'm playing a character in that."
The actor then went on about what happened when he met up with director J.J. Abrams.
"J.J. Abrams and I met, and we just had this incredible kind of vibe between us," Serkis said. "He said, 'You'd fit really well in this universe,' and I said, 'I think I probably could.' We're working very closely, as I say, in two ways: the Imaginarium is providing all of the performance characters, and I myself am playing a character in it."
Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
