On Friday, TV Fanatic announced that Craig Parker, who's known for playing Haldir in The Lord of the Rings series, will be making his way onto the series. He will play the "brilliant, sexual fierce" character of Narcisse, according to the site. Apparently, this guy is known as a devout Catholic who will come in with a "death grip" on the French Court.
The site also pointed out that this new character will likely become an enemy of Catherine's mainly because everyone tends to follow that path. Parker's character will also reportedly be a recurring one.

Some of Parker's other credits include NCIS, Sleepy Hollow and Spartacus: War of the Damned.
Megan Follows (Queen Catherine) recently spoke to KSite TV about what's going to come for her character that will involve power structures.
"Catherine was a very, very powerful woman, whose power had been - not really in the shadows, but she had to be very careful," the actress said. "So, it's going to be interesting. She became Queen Consort. She got it into her, basically, contract, that she would be Queen throughout the reigns of her sons. It's going to be really interesting to see where we go with it."
Follows also mentioned that everything in the first season surprised her.
Reign Season 2 is expected to premiere on Thursday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
