Country singer Carrie Underwood is about to become larger than life.

New Details On Carrie Underwood's Upcoming Album

It's been known for a while now that the superstar will be returning to NBC's Sunday Night Football to sing its much-anticipated theme song, but yesterday NBC announced that previews for the performance will debut on the big screen.

Underwood promoted the news on Twitter yesterday by reporting a link to the NBC announcement.

Carrie Underwood Joins Global Citizen Festival This Fall

A two and a half minute behind-the-scenes video will premiere on Friday, July 25 in over 19,000 movie theatres across the country.

Participating theatres include AMC, Cinemark, and Regal Entertainment Group.

This will be the second year in a row for which Underwood will perform Waiting All Day For Sunday Night during the opening show.

The behind-the-scenes video will include footage of Underwood, as well as various NFL players.

While the sneak-peak hits theatres, the country singer will continue to tour the country, playing various venues including Florida's Gulf Coast Jam in September. Also appearing at the event is Blake Shelton, husband to Underwood's good friend and Somethin' Bad duet partner Miranda Lambert.

Before heading to the east coast, however, Underwood will make a stop at Nashville's The Grand Ole Opry, where she made the first announcement about her new album a few months ago. A return to the venue could suggest more album details are heading this way. The singer has yet to reveal a title or release date for her new work, which will be the first new music turned out by the singer since 2012.

Underwood's full performance for NBC's Sunday Night Football will air Sunday, September 7.
