Keith Urban Talks Touring With His Daughters
The 46-year-old musician is no stranger to performing, but after years of touring he is still a perfectionist when it comes to his work. "I am eternally hungry for improvement in every single thing I do," he told Rolling Stone in a Thursday report. "I'm trying to be a better singer. I'm trying to be a better guitar player. I'm trying to put on better shows."
Urban spoke of wanting to "take a crowd on a journey" when her performs and that the unscripted moments during the shows are always the best. "Those moments that come from somewhere else, just because you feel hood, the audience is good, everything is right and magical things happen," he explained. "Those moments are so beautiful because they are absolute fact proof that this stuff is coming from somewhere else."
Wife Nicole Kidman Saved Keith Urban's Life
While Keith Urban has openly stated that he takes his daughters out on the road when he tours for more than a few days, he recently added that his wife, actress Nicole Kidman (Stoker, Grace Of Monaco) also accompanies him, making the process of going out on the road quite a family affair. The pair, which have been married since 2006, have two daughters together, Sunday and Faith.
Urban continues with his Raise 'Em Up tour this month, finishing off at the Washington State Fair in September.
