It looks as though Jason Biggs is feeling very, very sorry these days for his "ill-timed" jokes he made about the Malaysia Air MH17 flight that crashed in Ukraine last Thursday.

Orange Is The New Black: Jason Biggs Dishes On Some Spoilers

The Hollywood actor, who helped co-host The View on Monday morning, has issued yet another apology about the comments he made about the airline following the news of the crash last week.

"There was one line, an old adage," Biggs said on the show, according to Us Weekly. "Never attribute to malice that which is explained by stupidity. I certainly meant no harm; there was no malice, but I was stupid. It was poorly timed. I've always tried to find the humor in situations.... It's a knee-jerk reaction for me, it's how I cope."

Bigg managed to stir up controversy after reports were made that the Boeing 777, which was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, was shot down by a missile fired from a Buk antiaircraft system near the Ukranian and Russian border.

Published on The Huffington Post, the actor tweeted, "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?" along with, "It's saddest for the victims and their families, obviously. But Malaysia Airlines is apparently a GREAT airline. Gonna be tough to recover."

He also added, "In all seriousness, tho- HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh."

Biggs' twitter followers almost immediately began criticizing the actor for his remarks, with the actor quickly defending himself and calling his tweets "jokes."
