Within six hours, the post received nearly 800 favorites and nearly 2,000 reposts. The series has been on shaky ground this year both on and off the camera. In March it was announced that the reality program would be canceled after Season 5, but by April the season had already begun and Radar was reporting that high ratings and new challenges for the stars had caused them to change their minds.
Lowry recently returned from a book tour, during which she promoted her memoir Pride Over Pity. Comfortable at home with her two sons and new husband Java Marroquin, the star relived the challenges of divided parenting during Wednesday night's episode when she had to bring her eldest son to visit his father and her Jo Rivera.
Teen Mom 2 continues its fifth season on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
