Michelle Rodriguez, Zac Efron Dating: Actress No Longer A ‘Healthy Influence’ On Boyfriend As His Need For A ‘Social Lubricant’ Resurfaces With Relationship? [VIDEO]
Their influence on one another was supposed to be positive, but the newest reports seem to suggest that Michelle Rodriguez's hard-partying lifestyle is affecting beau Zac Efron in a negative way.
Zac Efron Only Dating Michelle Rodriguez For Her Money?
The couple, who only went public on a trip to Sardinia in July, are currently vacationing together in Ibiza, and Efron's partying and drinking while around his older girlfriend has sparked the concerns of his friend and family.
TMZ reports that the actor has been drinking again while vacationing with Rodriguez-and reportedly never stopped, despite two stints in rehab in 2013 for drug abuse, including addictions to cocaine and molly.

According to the site, Efron's biggest problem now appears to be that he always believes he can stop-something he has reportedly proven isn't easy for him.
"He'll stop cold for 3 or 4 days when he has to work and then he's back," sources told the website, before revealing he is trying to get out a rebellious period now because he couldn't do so when he was younger due to his committed relationship to High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens.
"When Zac was 18 or 19, when most kids go crazy, he was kept on a short leash. When they broke up he went off the rails," the source added.
The news that he is possibly falling off the wagon again comes just days after his episode of NBC's Running Wild With Bear Grylls, where he openly addressed what lead him down a road towards addiction and rehab in the first place.
" The challenging part was never the work. That was never it," Efron expressed candidly during the episode. "It was sort of the in-between work-the social aspects outside of it. Everywhere you go to a certain extent, there is press in some form. Whether you're going out to an event where you're supposed to be out, there will be press there. If you're leaving your house to go to the grocery store, there will be press there-they can be everywhere. "
"It can be confusing. You spend a lot of time in your house, going crazy," he continued. "Pretty soon you need a social lubricant, and once I needed that, it became to go anywhere. It was getting to the point where I was caring less about the work and waiting more for the weekend, where I couldn't wait to go out and sort of let loose."
Interestingly enough, Efron also admitted in the episode that he never wanted to go down that path again-making his association with the hard-partying Rodriguez more worrisome for those close to him.
"I just never again want to have to take anything from the outside into me to feel good about my outside, to be comfortable in my present skin," he said. "And that takes a lot of work. It's just meditation, and stopping and slowing down your brain."
One person who insisted no one needed to worry about the relationship between Efron and Rodriguez however was their mutual friend, Italian entrepreneur Gianluca Vacchi, who the couple was staying with while in Sardinia.
He even took to his Instagram page on July 11 to defend the pair, calling them a 'mutually healthy influence' on each other.
"Don't be concerned, Z and Mich have a mutually healthy influence each other and they are very cute together," he wrote.
No one from Efron or Rodriguez's camps has commented on the recent reports.
