Wii U: Host of Games for Console Set for November Release
New reports surrounding the Wii U have indicated that the Wii U will get have a November 2012 release date.
Sources have highlighted the fact that new game listings have come out to indicate the Wii U will definitely be available in November.
D3 Publisher has announced that its game "Rise of the Guardians" will be released on November 23 for the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Wii U.
However, this rumor has been backed up by other sources, which also seemingly show that the Wii U will be released in November.
Sega and Ubisoft have both announced Wii U games to be released in November as well. "Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed" and "Rayman Legends" will be released on the Wii U in November 2012.
However, it is prudent to note that Nintendo has still not officially confirmed the date its Wii U will be released. But if games are scheduled to be available in November for the console, it is highly likely that the device will be released at least by November. In fact it could be released even earlier, but a November release is most likely, according to analysts.
The Wii U's likely main competitor, the Xbox 720 - or whatever it will be called when it comes out - will be released some time in 2013. The current Xbox 360 has led the console market for more than four years now, and there is great anticipation over what the nest generation Xbox will entail.
Rumors have already begun to emerge surrounding the next Xbox. Wdbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter has said Microsoft's Xbox 720 will feature as both a console and a cable box, allowing the console to be purchased for the extremely low price of $100 if purchased with a Cable TV contract.
