It looks like Sofia Vergara's relationship with Joe Manganiello might be more than just a rumored fling. According to sources, the actor has managed to "tame" the Modern Family star and is supposedly teaching her how to have fun "without the drinking."

The couple, who began dating just last month, have managed to keep their relationship low-key with visiting her family in Miami and spending time together at some of L.A.'s hottest restaurants. Apparently Manganiello is also a "great influence" for her according to Vergara's close friends.
A source told Radar Online on Tuesday, "Joe is so happy right now. He is really into Sofia! He has been a really good influence on her. He is teaching her that she can have just as much fun without drinking and has gotten her into fitness and health. They even workout together."

Manganiello has "long-term sobriety," adds the source and is apparently using his sobriety to give back.
The source added, "He helps out a bunch of great guys that really look up to him."
Meanwhile, Vergara and Manganiello might be one of the hottest couples in Hollywood right now, but many are speculating on the authenticity of their new relationship. The couple, who just began dating three weeks ago, are said to be having a "fauxmance" orchestrated by their publicists.
The Modern Family and True Blood actors first met back in May and have been hot and heavy ever since, while just recently taking a short trip to Miami together to visit Vergara's family. The couple was spotted kissing and holding hands by the paparazzi at Miami International Airport before heading back to Los Angeles on Sunday.
Sources say that the couple have been putting on a lot of PDA together lately. One onlooker who saw the couple dining in Los Angeles earlier this month said, "They were very friendly and took pictures with other diners. They held each other and kissed several times."
