Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition: Summer Skins Release
3D world video game success "Minecraft" is commemorating the 2012 Summer of Arcade by releasing a free of charge skin pack for its addition to Xbox 360. The freebie will include unique skins based on the five brand new games that are set to launch on Xbox LIVE Arcade mode.
The special pack will include 15 vastly different skins that are based on some of the following games: Wreckateer, Deadlight, Hybrid and Dust, Tony Hawk Pro Skater and An Elysian Tale.
One must act quickly to retrieve these; as they will only be available for a limited time: 5 weeks of the Summer of Arcade promotion.
The special skins can be downloaded on the Xbox 360 Dashboard. Simply go to the "Game" menu and wait for the "Summer of Arcade" ad to appear and then click the big banner. From that point you can scroll to the bottom right until you are highlighting "Minecraft Order." Once you click on that, you will notice a "Get The Skin Pack." Click on it in order to download the free items mentioned.
Note that Xbox LIVE is giving subscribers those that purchase three Summer Of Arcade titles 400MS Points ($5.00) in credit.
"Minecraft" was developed by 4J Studios and supports Kinect play as well as the PC version.
