While just about every girl in London has her named linked to playing the Bond girl in the upcoming James Bond movie, it seems like one up and coming actor and fashion model is throwing her name into the ring.

According to Glamour posted on Monday, model Cara Delevingne has shown interest in playing the Bond girl role in Bond 24. The actress has previously had roles in Anna Karenina, The Face of an Angel, and the upcoming Pan, which stars Hugh Jackman.

The report said that Delevingne said that playing a Bond girl is one of her career dreams and that she would love to have the opportunity to join the cast. The report added that "there would be a real buzz about getting her involved and the signs are all good. Everybody is excited."

Delevingne joins names like Kate Upton, Penelope Cruz, and Lea Seydoux as potential Bond girls for the next movie. Seydoux is rumored to be the pick of director Sam Mendes and the Grand Budapest Hotel star was said to be in talks to lock up the role.

Even if Seydoux is named the Bond girl, it could still be a possibility that Delevingne could show up in some capacity. There is always room for a secondary girl and with the lack of acting experience, it could lead to her showing up as an early girl for James Bond before Seydoux takes over later on in the movie.

Bond 24 has Daniel Craig returning to the role of James Bond and Naiome Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Rory Kinnear, and Ben Whishaw returning in their roles from Skyfall.
