K. Michelle is back with a new music video and a new version of her song, "Damn." The fiery VH1 personality and undeniable talent premiered the video right after her former show, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta aired on Aug. 11. Though she is no longer a major part of that cast, her songs and experiences could very well be the soundtrack to the lives of the women on the show. **Oh hey, Stevie J.**

In the revamped version of the song, the 30-year-old sings her heart out about a man who abuses her somewhat unconditional love for him. In the first line of the song, she sings,

"Damn/ Here I go again, Falling for the wrong man/Damn, since the day I left, I ain't heard a word from him."

The video was shot in a modern-style apartment with dramatic lighting and various wigs to chronicle the singer as she blows up his phone and gets frustrated by obvious presence other females.

Throughout the three minute and thirty second video, scenes from her upcoming project with VH1, Rebelious Soul The Musical, are shown. K. Michelle, whose real name is Kimberly Michelle Pate, plays a fictional character that has to deal with betrayal from in her relationship and leaving behind her troubled past.

According to the musicals' official website, "[Her] powerful ballads capture the lust, love, heartache and redemption of a fierce woman struggling to break the cycle of bad romance." Idris Elba directed the musical, and most of the music is from on her debut album Rebellious Soul. Tune into VH1 on Aug. 19 at 10/9c to see her work come to life.

In the meantime, K. Michelle seems to have turned over a new leaf, staying out of drama and working on her upcoming projects. Besides her new show with VH1, K. Michelle: My Life, she is working on a new album, #AWBAH. The actual meaning of the acronym has yet to be confirmed, but a fan recently commented on her Instagram, "It means, A Woman Behind All Hurt." Hmmm... We will wait for K. to confirm.
