Tank New Album 'Stronger' 2014: R&B Singer Visits NYC to Work Out and Promote 'StrongerU' Instagram Campaign [PHOTO] [EXCLUSIVE]
Singer and songwriter Tank is back with a new album and a new campaign to motivate his fans. On Tuesday (Aug.12), his sixth solo studio album Stronger hit stores and he has been on a serious promo tour ever since.
As he ventures up and down the east coast, devoted fans who follow him on social media have had access to new ways to meet their favorite vocal-genius at record signings, meet and greets, as well as exclusive listening events. However, this morning (Aug. 15) to emphasize the inspirational message behind the title of his newest piece of work, he and his trainers took a group of media professionals to work out in New York City -- and of course, our Enstars Original team was on the scene.
"I hope you guys are ready to work!" exclaimed Tank as he entered the spacious studio in Jordans, black plants and 'Stronger U' t-shirt. Behind him stood two trainers wearing full workout gear and this-is-going-to-hurt-you-more-than-it-hurts-me expressions on their face. The writers, on-air personalities and social media managers in the room did not know what they bargained for but the group -- gathered by Atlantic Records -- was about to be put to work.

"We are here today to push you and to create a 'Stronger U'," the TGT member continued. "The more you push, the stronger you will be. We are creating a stronger, better you today."
For the next 30 minutes, the group of 25 endured training from his actual workout regimen-- as they jumped rope, hopped hurdles, and slammed down heavy workout balls at the stations set up in the room. Though there was a lot of sweat and heavy breathing, no one gave up because Tank made everyone in the room promise that they wouldn't quit, similar to the message he's given his fans on Instagram, lately.
Tank's #StrongerU social media campaign comes complete with its own 30-day workout challenges, video tutorials, and six-pack inspiration from the fit man himself. During other stops, he even invited along motivational speakers like Rob Hill Sr. to inspire those invited to his workouts to be stronger mentally and physically.
Before the group left -- sore and in pain-- Tank wanted to teach them the steps to his new song, Dance With Me. Though the complicated footwork tripped some people up at first, it eventually got easier with each step. Try it for yourselves by watching the tutorial below.
As the class came to an end, it was easy to see how much Tank has grown over the years. Though he is obviously committed to great record sales, this time around, he wants to make sure his fans are doing better than they were before by impacting their everyday lives with his new campaign.
The group caught their breath and stood around in a circle, as Tank revealed one thing he tells himself every morning to send everyone off in a positive attitude, asking everyone to repeat, "I am exactly what I think I am."
