FX's American Horror Story is adding to its ever-expanding cast with another relatively big star signing up for the Freak Show this fall.

Matt Bomer, who is mostly known for his starring role of Neal Caffrey in USA's White Collar, has joined American Horror Story: Freak Show, according to a new report by Entertainment Weekly. He will be appearing in one episode of the upcoming fourth installment in the horror anthology series.

Bomer is no stranger to working with American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy, having also guest starred in Murphy's other show, Fox's Glee, and costarring in HBO's Murphy-directed AIDS drama The Normal Heart. He is currently nominated for an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his role as Felix Turner in The Normal Heart.

"I try to get him to do everything for me," Murphy told Entertainment Weekly. "I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.' It's very...warped."

Bomer is currently working on the film Magic Mike 2 but Murphy said that he has arranged it so that Bomer could also film Freak Show for an episode.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set in 1952 and takes place in Jupiter, Fla., where one of the last remaining freak shows resides. The freak show is owned by Jessica Lange's character Elsa Mars, who must protect her troupe from the dangers of the outside world.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to premiere Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
