Bryan Cranston took home the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series Emmy for Breaking Bad on Monday.

Lead Actress in a Comedy Series Winner At 'Emmys 2014' Is Julia Louis-Dreyfus For 'Veep'

Nominated for his work as Walter White, Cranston snagged the honor over five other contestants.

The actor was also up for producer of Breaking Bad in the Outstanding Drama Series, and these were Cranston's eighth and ninth Breaking Bad Emmy nominations.

The 2014 Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series category was also home to Bryan Cranston, Kevin Spacey, Jon Hamm, Jeff Daniels, Woody Harrelson, and Matthew McConaughey.

Kevin Spacy made the list for his work as Francis Underwood in House of Cards. This is his second House of Cards Lead Actor nomination, and his fourth for the series overall.

Jon Hamm earned a nomination for his portrayal of Mad Men's Don Draper. This is his seventh nomination for the role, but Hamm has yet to win.

Daniels joined the ranks of nominees for his work on The Newsroom, the same series that earned him the Outstanding Lead Actor Emmy last year.

Both Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were nominated for True Detective, McConaughey for Rust Cohle and Harrelson for Martin Hart.
