Why Simon Cowell Is Clarifying His Break Up Comments About 1D
Simon Cowell made remarks last week that bands don't stay together forever, but later clarified those remarks. Horan told The Irish Sun Monday that, "He was clearly misquoted or something. We're going to go as long as we can go, as long as people want us we will be here. None of that rumors business."
On Saturday, Cowell tweeted, "Just to clear up the rumours it is my guess and my hope One D will stay together for a very long time. The boys are having the best time. And as I said recently their new album is really really good."
Horan continued to say he wasn't thinking about the end of 1D. "I don't want to think about that at the minute. I'm still here, still with the band," Horan said about solo rumors. "I don't need to think about it at all - I'm having a great time here, touring and having the craic with the lads - we are all still having a great time."
Horan also talked about how they are currently working on releasing their fourth album this year. "I'm not thinking of what I have to do after just yet." Horan even tweeted Monday, "Love this time of year, decisions . Album artwork, album title, music video ideas ! can't wait for you guys to hear and see what we're doing".
One Direction is currently on their North American leg of the Where We Are world tour. The band's next stop is Wednesday in St Louis, Mo. followed up by Friday in Chicago, Ill.
