Three new trailers for the highly anticipated fourth season of FX's American Horror Story, subtitled Freak Show, have been released, with a heavy emphasis on evil clowns.

While it is not entirely clear if they are fan-made, the new trailers are very creepy and center on clowns and a sword-swallower, two very common members of a freak show.

The first trailer is titled Open Wide was posted on Bloody-Disgusting and features a clown with red and white makeup smiling at the camera. Suddenly, the clown's mood changes and he becomes very upset and screams. As his mouth opens the logo for American Horror Story: Freak Show appears.

The other clown-centric trailer, titled Twisted Smile, was posted by DreadCentral and features a clown dancing in the shadows on a tent as the song The Carnival by Amanda Jenssen plays. As it gets to the part where she sings "It's gonna be an awful day," the clown is seen in extreme closeup, smiling wide at the camera. At this point the logo for the series pops up.

Finally for the sword-swallowing preview, appropriately titled Sword Swallow, features a bald man covered in tattoos simply performing the act of sword-swallowing as the American Horror Story theme plays.

At the very least, fans know that both clowns and sword-swallowers will be in American Horror Story: Freak Show, as revealed by previous information. It was announced that John Carroll Lynch would be playing Twisty, a "clown killer." He will reportedly be the main antagonist of the new season. Meanwhile, there is a sword swallower in the poster for the new season.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to premiere Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
