The first extended trailer for FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show was released Sunday night, previewing the cast's new characters with their various eccentricities.

FX released the trailer titled Voyeur which begins with a hand opening up a circus tent, allowing the viewer in to the freak show. As the camera wanders in, the first character seen is the bearded lady Effil Darling (Kathy Bates). A smaller man trimming her beard as she looks on, casually.

A taller man then escorts the viewer into a room with strongman Wendell Del Toledo (Michael Chiklis) sporting a thick mustache and lifting a very large barbell while a woman rests on top of him.

Next up is the three-breasted woman Desiree Dupree (Angela Bassett) who is seen resting and drawing attention to all three breasts.

The camera then follows in to another room where Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters) appears to be making love to a woman. It is then revealed many of his fingers are conjoined together, suggesting that Peters' will be playing a "Lobster Boy."

The tall man then waltzes into another room where Sarah Paulson's new character is seen next to a mirror. While the viewer only sees one head at first, the trailer then reveals both heads on her body, one smiling and one looking very stern.

Finally, Jessica Lange's character Elsa Mars is revealed. She looks at the camera fiercely before walking out of the tent wearing a long, red-and-white striped dress. It appears that the World's Smallest Woman Jyota Ange is walking behind her, trying to keep up while carrying the trail of Elsa's dress. Elsa then opens the tent up dramatically.

With the premiere of Freak Show only a month away, the series is really amping up its promotion. It is probable that fans will be receiving more intriguing trailers and promotional photos within the next few weeks.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to begin Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m ET/PT on FX.
