One of Jennifer Lopez's ex-husbands opened up about their marriage. Dancer Cris Judd, who married Lopez after a month-long engagement back in 2001, is speaking up about their rollercoaster union and divorce.

Judd, who divorced Lopez back in 2003, says that while there's no bad blood between him and the singer, he was unprepared for all of the tabloid fame that came with being married to a star in the celebrity spotlight.

"You kind of sign up for that, you know? You kind of have to take it and accept it and embrace it. Once you stop fighting it, it smoothes itself over. If you try to keep that privacy, it drives you nuts and that's why people break," he told Us Weekly on Sunday.

He adds, though, that being in the public eye wasn't the deciding factor in their divorce. Judd added, "It has no bearing on the outcome of a relationship. Unfortunately, it just didn't work out."

Meanwhile, Lopez herself has admitted to making mistakes in her past relationships.

In an interview with ELLE UK last month, the celebrity mother of two says that despite her blunders, she's trying to learn from her mistakes and knows that there's still a man out there for her.

"Everybody has seen that I make mistakes. Each time it goes wrong it's hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go: 'What did I do? What can I learn?' And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher. I've got to hope that if I keep going I will eventually get it right," she said.
