'James Holmes' Copycat Apprehended After Attempting Another 'Dark Knight Rises' Shooting [DETAILS]
Nearly a week after the Aurora, Colorado shooting that left 12 people dead and 58 injured, it has been reported that a copycat shooter has emerged in Prince George County, Maryland. Local authorities have allegedly apprehended the suspect after he had attempted to interrupt a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises." If they acted any later, authorities believe that there could have been another James Holmes-esque mass shooting.
According to a source, the psychotic individual had made a reference to the Joker.
The unidentified suspect was taken into custody in Crofton on Thursday night, according to ABC7 News. It was said that the unstable individual was about to be terminated from his place of employment.
After conducting a thorough search of the copycat's premises, police said that they had dug up an "arsenal" of weaponry at the time of his incarceration. It is also being said that he had directly threatened to shoot his former employer and apparently seemed ready to follow through with it.
According to Hindustantimes, some experts are claiming that "Dark Knight Rises" saw an initial loss of $10 to $20 million due to the tragic shooting in Aurora, Colorado last Friday.
Well before the copycat surfaced, several moviegoers are said to have refrained from going to the theater because of such a potential circumstance.
