A new press release for the second episode of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, revealing where the new miniseries is set to go, plot-wise.

Could 'Freak Show's Clowns & Bearded Lady Make It The Best Season of American Horror Story Yet?

FX sent out a press release for the second episode of the highly anticipated Freak Show, an episode titled Massacres and Matinees.

"A citywide curfew threatens to shut down the Freak Show," the press release reads. "A strongman from Ethel's [Kathy Bates] troubled past arrives at camp. Gloria [Frances Conroy] arranges a terrifying play date for Dandy. The Tattler Twins [Sarah Paulson] reveal a talent that could knock Elsa [Jessica Lange] from the spotlight."

The episode is written by Tim Minear and directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon.

The strongman from Ethel's past is clearly her ex-husband Dell Toledo (Michael Chiklis), who has previously been announced to be a strongman in the freak show. This will surely complicate things as Desiree DuPree (Angela Bassett), a three-breasted woman in the freak show, is married to Dell Toledo.

It can also be assumed that the Dandy character will be played by Finn Wittrock, who is set to play the son of Conroy's Gloria. Dandy has a special interest in the freak show even though he might not be a "freak" himself.

Meanwhile, Dot and Bette Tattler will likely be the stars of the show as Elsa enlists in the two of them to help generate buzz for her freak show. However, it may come at a price, based on the press release.

It is slated to be one of the most interesting seasons yet with an ever-expanding cast. With the premiere only a few weeks away, it is safe to assume that a promo with all-new footage from the season is coming soon.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to debut Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
