"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honoring her memory on all of our platforms," E! said in a statement. "We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of Fashion Police. We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue."
Rivers was the host of the entertaining show since its premiere in 2010. On the show, Rivers and her co-hosts - Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos - critiqued outfits worn by Hollywood's famous faces. Rivers was known for never biting her tongue and always let people know exactly how she felt about each and every garment worn by celebrities.

The comedienne, whose career spanned almost 50 years, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 4 after facing complications during a throat surgery in New York City in late August. Rivers went into cardiac arrest during the procedure and was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She was kept on life support in the days that followed.
Her daughter Melissa Rivers announced the legend's death with a touching statement.
"My mother's greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon," she said.
