The Daily Mail released photos Saturday from an event where de Rossi and DeGeneres held hands on the red carpet. DeGeneres wore plaid pants with an oxford and blue blazer, while de Rossi donned a cream jumpsuit with matching poncho. The two were there to help support Scandal, which de Rossi is guest starring on this season.
Scandal actress Katie Lowes (who plays Quinn) even posted a pic of the Scandal cast with de Rossi and DeGeneres on her Instagram page.
Actor Jeff Perry who plays Cyrus on the show revealed that de Rossi's character will be working with him, according to TV Guide.. And she will figure "prominently" next season as a "professional in politics." He will be part of her arc as he and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) have a "renewed focus on work."
Maybe de Rossi let something spill to her wife. DeGeneres is a huge fan of the Kerry Washington drama, but recently revealed to her audience her wife de Rossi won't tell her any details. "She is on the show and she's so excited because we're huge fans of the show. Now she knows what's going on, she's got all the information."
Scandal is set to come back to ABC Thursday, September 25 at 9 p.m. ET.
