A retail store has pulled an extremely offensive t-shirt from its rack in the little boys section that referenced and made light of sexual assaults.

A brown top that reads, "It's not rape it's a snuggle with a struggle" has been pulled from the shelves in the store after a picture of the merchandise hit the Internet and quickly went viral. While the shirt was sold in the Phillipines, a New Orleans woman came across it at a SM Supermall located in Paway City. Interestingly enough, it was in the boys section of the store. Karen Kunawicz then posted a picture of the controversial shirt on her Facebook page.

She added, "I was shaking I could not take a proper photo. Insulting to women and girls and as a mom of a soon to be 13 year old, it made me want to throw up."

She was soon hit with thousands of comments and even shares from her fellow Facebook users around the nation and globe.

The SM Store caught wind of the reactions and also took to their Facebook to address the matter.

It uploaded a message that reads, "We have been informed via social media that we have a t-shirt with a message that we too find unacceptable. We do not tolerate such action. SM does not support such irresponsible and malicious acts that mock important and sensitive social issues."

It went on to say that it took the shirts off the shelves immediately and they will take action to prevent similar incidents in the future.
