Justin Bieber is making headlines again, and this time, it's not because he is in any kind of trouble. The young superstar is making his trasntition to film and voicing a the legendary KITT car in David Hasselhoff's newest comedy.

The 21- year-old Canadian import has acted in a few episodes of CSI, but "Killing Hasselhoff" will be his first movie role. In a new interview with The Insider with Yahoo!, David Hassellhoff said that Bieber that it all started with a phone call from the star. "He called me and asked me for a favor. I called him back and said, 'As a friend, could you do me a favor?' And he said, 'Yes."

Hasselhoff added, "And you know what? I did his favor first because I love the Bieb."

Though Bieber is super talented and internationally loved, he might have just as many people who think he is bad news. After his recent run-ins with the law-speeding through his neighborhood, crashing his ATV, various assault charges-many have given up on his once-good guy image but, not Hasselhoff.

The 'Baywatch' actor is actually fond of him! "I think he's a cool kid, and he gets a bad rap. He's a good guy, and I like his music. I've known him for five years, since the European Music Awards," he revealed.

Reportedly, Beiber was snapped filming inside the classic car earlier this week. The movie has no release date, but with these two as a main part of the cast, it's bound to be one that will draw out major crowds.
