The premiere of American Horror Story: Freak Show will be 90 minutes long, making it the longest premiere for the horror anthology series yet.

American Horror Story co-creator Ryan Murphy tweeted the news on Sunday that the Freak Show premiere on Oct. 8 would be "supersized."

"Excited to announce the AHS: Freak Show Premiere on October 8 will be a super-sized 90 minutes," he tweeted.

Murphy did not stop there. He also announced that the upcoming week would feature a "big preview" along with the main title sequence and two cast documentaries. "AHS Fans, you are also getting a big preview, the main title and TWO cast documentaries this week. Happy October!"

American Horror Story: Freak Show stars Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, the owner of one of the last remaining freak shows in America. Set in 1952, she and her troupe must face against the advent of television and desperately try to stay in business. As such, Elsa hires new performers to help attract new business: conjoined twins Dot and Bette Tattler (Sarah Paulson), each with their own distinct personality.

Among the other freak show performers are bearded lady Ethel Darling (Kathy Bates), strongman Dell Toledo (Michael Chiklis), three-breasted woman Desiree DuPree (Angela Bassett), "Lobster Boy" Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters) and many more.

Other cast members include Frances Conroy as high society woman Gloria Mott, Denis O'Hare and Emma Roberts as Stanley and Maggie, a pair of con artists, and John Carroll Lynch as Twisty the Clown.

American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
