We already know the pair wed in Venice, Italy at the Aman Candal Grande hotel. The bride, 36, looked elegant in an Oscar de la Renta gown, while the groom, 53, sported a Giorgio Armani tux with a black bow tie, white shirt and oxfords.
But now there are more details (thanks to People magazine) on the happy couple that might make you melt.

1) The married in the same place they met. They also have a house in Italy.
2) They both share the same passion for human rights causes.
3) Friends were once scared that Clooney, one of Hollywood's most famous bachelors, would hurt Alamuddin, but they quickly let go of their fear. "'He isn't exactly Mr. Commitment,' I thought. But you could see in the way he held himself, treated her and others and enjoyed life that his heart was big and he loved her with all of it," the bride's friend Jae Kim said.
4) Clooney's reaction to getting married: "It feels pretty damn great."
5) He was also nervous on his wedding day, according to his father Nick.
6) The lawyer's family gives the Hollywood star two thumbs up. "George, we love you truly, deeply and sincerely," Alamuddin's mother Baria said during a speech at the wedding. "We enjoy your charm, your wit, intelligent conversation and generosity. You are simply perfect."
