Portia de Rossi just made her debut on Scandal last week, but already she and wife Ellen DeGeneres couldn't be more excited.

In honor of last week's premiere, de Rossi officially joined Twitter for the first time. de Rossi revealed that she plays the head of the Republican National Committee named Lizzie.

Previously actor Jeff Perry who plays Cyrus on the show revealed to TV Guide that de Rossi's character would be working with him ad she would figure "prominently" next season as a "professional in politics." He will be part of her arc as he and President Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) have a "renewed focus on work."

Now fans know that de Rossi's character will be a huge part of Season 4 of the hit show. de Rossi is so dedicated now that she revealed Thursday she'll be live-tweeting the episode.
