Problem duo Ariana Grande and Big Sean are rumored to be a happy couple, but new reports claim that the parents of the 21-year-old singer have an issue with her dating the rapper, 25.

An insider told OK! magazine that Grande's parents have a serious issue with the crowd she could be around as a result of being connected to a rapper.
"Her parents think Big Sean is a good kid, but they're not sure he's the right fit. They worry that because he's a rapper he mixes with a bad crowd."

The insider went on to claim that Grande has defended her relationship with the Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay rapper against her parents and insisted they have no say in who she can date.
But a separate insider debunked the myth that Grande's parents do not like Big Sean.
They said that her mother actually "adores" him and slammed the magazine's story as being "completely fake."
Grande also revealed recently that she and her father are estranged, so the idea that he would have an opinion on her rumored boyfriend might not add up.
She told Seventeen magazine back in July, "Falling out of touch with my dad [was the toughest thing I've ever dealt with]. It's private, but it happened last year. It took me so long to be okay with it."
The Way singer also added that while she inherited many characteristics from her father, she had to come to terms with not having a solid relationship with him.
