The 43-year-old mimicked the late comedian's distinct voice in a comical skit, which showed Rivers entering heaven in a fur coat.
“Heaven, are you serious? Me in heaven? I guess I should be here, I’m practically a virgin. The last time I had someone inside me, it was Melissa,” Silverman said in reference to Rivers’ daughter, 46.

The skit also included other late legends – Adam Levine as Queen’s lead singer Freddie Mercury, Lucille Ball, Apple founder Steve Jobs, Richard Pryor and Benjamin Franklin. Silverman made jokes about all of them.
“Steve, I hope you’re forced to buy a newer, better casket every six months so you can see how we feel,” Silverman said in reference to the constant release of new iPhone models.
She ended the skit saying, “Listen people, comedy is to make us laugh to deal with things, so open the gates, let me in here.”
Rivers, whose career spanned almost 50 years, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 4 after facing complications during a throat surgery in New York City in late August. Rivers went into cardiac arrest during the procedure and was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She was kept on life support in the days that followed.
On the day of Rivers’ death, Silverman tweeted, “My heart is torn in half. She wasn't done” along with the below photo.
