Blake Shelton Trunks There Are 'Too Many Award Shows' In Country Music

On Thursday the Neon Light singer decided to kick back and relax.

Shelton wasn't the only one taking some time away from being a superstar. His wife and fellow artist Miranda Lambert spent the afternoon promoting a cause very near and dear to her heart.

Lambert only has two more stops on her tour this year, one in Alpharetta, Georgia on Oct. 18 and another in Charlotte, N.C. on December 30. Now that she has more time on her hands, she might chose to spend more time helping out dogs in need or hanging around with her husband.

As for Shelton, he's still got The Voice and will continue to promote Bringing Back the Sunshine, which came out Sept. 30.
