Photos captured a beaming Jolie in a Ralph & Russo pencil skirt and matching suit jacket as well as Salvatore Ferragamo heels. The Maleficent actress and Queen Elizabeth are also shown shaking hands.
It was revealed in June that the Hollywood star would receive the award to acknowledge her philanthropy. Jolie founded the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative (PSVI) and has been heavily involved in stopping sexual violence throughout the world. She was also recognized for her work with U.K. foreign policy.
"To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on PSVI and with survivors of rape is an honor in itself," Jolie said at the time. "I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine."
