While cast and crew have boasted an exciting premiere for Showtime's Penny Dreadful, director James Hawes promises that the thrills won't be limited to the second season's first episode.

'Penny Dreadful' Gets All New 'Monsters' For Season 2

On Saturday the television director hinted at some exciting new scenes filmed for a future episode of the Victorian supernatural drama.

A month into production and Hawes' passion for the series hasn't seemed to fade. He's not the only one either. Producer Christopher King went ahead and shared a picture of what he claims Miss Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) would look like if Disney ever got ahold of her.

King likely posted the image as a joke, contrasting the dark sensibilities of the edgy Miss Ives with that of a Disney character. Nonetheless, the producer is fully invested in the Penny Dreadful world, posting photos from the set and sharing other pictures from cast and crew whenever possible.

A date for the new season has not been set yet, but production has been moving steadily along in Dublin since September, filming both in studio and on location across the city.

Penny Dreadful returns to Showtime for a second, longer season in 2015.
