"Love and Hip Hop Hollywood" has taken over Monday nights, just as Mona and her team planned. With the combination of a larger cast, bigger egos, more surgery, boy bands of the 2000's and ratchet-ness that many thought rarely existed on the west coast, millions (over 2.8 to be exact) have tuned in for the turn up. But, before the cameras, many of the people on the show were colleagues, former lovers and friends. But, things change when the cameras come on.

LHHH Exclusive: Moniece Spills the Tea on Her Relationship With Lil' Fizz

According to the shows' PR maven-turned-rapstress Hazel E, this is what happened with her longtime friendship with cast mate Teairra Mari. In the first episode, the two were chatting about boys and house-sitting. By the fourth, Hazel had moved out of their apartment, almost fought the former Roc-nation signee and had numerous shade-full curse-out sessions. So what happened?

Hazel E broke it all down for Enstars.com. According to her, her longtime friendship with Teairra Mari came to an end because of pressure from the producers and her former friends' drinking problem.

Gia Peppers: What's the current state of your relationship with Teairra Mari? We saw you two fall a part on the show but are you guys friends now?

Hazel E: With me and Teairra, it's a real sisterhood there. Although we don't live together anymore, and we're not the terrible twosome running around Hollywood tearing it up anymore, I still have a lot of love for her. But, distance is probably the best policy in our situation right now because things haven't all the way healed. We went through a lot filming this show and it's going to take some time to fully repair what was broken. We both needed our space... We have hosted a club together in Houston. The bigger picture is remaining women and being classy, and making your own money and surviving.

GP: That's true. It's been really interesting to watch this play out because the season literally opened with a shot of you and Teairra talking about Ray...

Hazel E: It happened as quickly as it unfolded. It was a shock to me because we definitely went in this thinking that we were "Thelma & Louise." Nobody was going to split us up. We were going to stay down and ride it 'til the end. That was our mentality. It's just... The fame monster will attack when those cameras are in your face. It's hard to keep your cool when you're always thinking, "Do they want me to do more or less? How am I going to be relevant?"

Certain things start to come into place that might change your character or how you would react in a situation without the cameras being there. Then when the cameras stopped cutting... We had to actually go home together so that was a lot. It was just draining and counter productive. We needed space. In order for both of us to do this show and reach our goals, we had to do it separately. If not, we would have torn each other down in the process.

GP: When Teairra was signed to Roc Nation, the media and paparazzi weren't as intrusive, so we only knew her as what they marketed her to be. Now, on the show, we see her in a whole different light and we are all shocked to see that's she's, well... Violent. Was she always like that?

Hazel E: Well, knowing Teairra, living with her and being friends with her for many years, on the outside-when we would do bookings together and get money [before becoming roommates]-she seemed really sweet. I used to think she was just a misunderstood, real girl from the hood who had these struggles and was dropped, and trying to get back on her feet. Then, when we moved in together, I would see how she could go from 0 to 100 real quick when that liquor was involved. It was like, "Wait, hold up, I didn't sign up to be anybody's punching bag."

Until she can really get a true hold of that addiction problem, I just don't see things ending well for her. She's beautiful, she's talented, she has God-given gifts and I just feel like she's letting it go to waste because she can't get a hold of the one thing that makes her go crazy. I know for her-I haven't talked to her-I can only imagine [how she feels] from seeing what she is doing and how it's affecting people. I would hope and pray that she would want change for herself.

I've suggested before that the show could maybe help her or take her to rehab because she's going to self-destruct. No matter how much you love and care for a person, if they don't want to make that change then you gotta change. Im gonna change and I'm going to stay the hell away from yo' ass. I'm not with this destruction.
