Despite being linked to both male and female celebrities, model Cara Delevingne has never truly confirmed her own sexual preferences-though she may be finally speaking out now.

The 22-year-old shared a photo of herself as a part of the WE ARE YOU/Self Evident project on her Instagram October 13-but the caption she included with the photo sparked the curiosity of her fans, who wondered if she had come out for the first time.
"Doesn't matter who you are or what you believe it, we are one! Go get yourself one of these shirts right now! I'm late for National Coming Out Day but better late then never," she wrote. "Don't be scared to be who you are. Please follow @iolovesyou and @selfevidentproject because #WEAREYOU."

Fans questioned the model after reading the post, wondering if she was confirming a sexual orientation, after dodging questions about it for some time-and being linked to a wide variety of fellow celebrities.
In addition to One Direction singer Harry Styles, Delevingne was linked to Fast and the Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez earlier this year-in a confirmed relationship which fizzled after only a few months. She was also linked to her Tulip Fever co-star, Jack O'Connell just last week.
Delevingne previously admitted she preferred the company of women because she found that men tend to have ulterior motives when it comes to wanting to get to know her.
When asked about her sexuality in a June interview, the model initially hedged questions off by saying she was just having fun, but later admitted that she did tend to find herself more comfortable around women-though she wouldn't put a label on herself.
"The funny thing is, I always used to have more guy friends. At school, I was a tomboy and it would be me and all my guy friends," she said at the time. "But now...I don't know. It's kind of changed quite a bit. I still have my old friends from school, but I think...I don't meet men now who just want to be my friend."
"It doesn't really happen that much. They're just shallow like that. Unless it's one of my girlfriend's boyfriends, most guys are not like, 'Oh, we should just be mates,'" she added. "I think it's harder to become friends with guys, because guys just want to have sex with you."
